I downloaded the AVG Free Edition, but I cannot find the installation file on my computer. How do I find it?

Before the download process starts, you will be asked to select a folder to save the file. Choose a convenient location, which will be easy to remember. If you do not remember where you saved the file, then you can search for "avg7*.exe" string on your computer. You should be able to locate the file if the download was completed successfully.
