ClamWin Free Antivirus source code is located in the Subversion repository on SourceForge. In order to access it, you need to install a special piece of software called a Subversion client. Information about Subversion client software may be found in SourceForge document titled "Recommended User Software Configuration".

ClamWin uses the same database as ClamAV (http://www.clamav.net/). Please scan the suspicious file online first. There is a good free service provided by http://www.virustotal.com/. Virustotal will scan your files with different scanners, so it is easy to judge if the file is a false positive or really a virus.

ClamWin Free Antivirus does not scan files automatically (that is when you access or open a file), you need to scan a suspicious file manually before opening it. Hence ClamWin does not offer fully automatic virus protection and does not integrate with Windows XP SP2 Security Centre.
